The multi-dimensional version of so many of my paintings – people in space helmets floating around the city.

A night scene in San Francisco, a chunk of a neighborhood for my urban astronaut to explore.

Part architectural effort, world building, character animation, and VR exploration.

The house was modeled in Maya in a Victorian/Edwardian style.

The character and the initial version of the space helmet were also modeled in Maya

Everything was assembled together in Unity.

A custom skybox was created using photos taken from the roof of my first apartment in The City, making this scene approximately in the Lower Haight neighborhood.

One of the rooms was outfitted with some stock models as well as custom artwork and accessories.

Notice the painting above the bed.

Animation of the character was done with the Unity mechanim setup and some motion capture clips.

This was a massive learning experience, with multiple uses, still being built on.

Software used:

Unity

Maya

Photoshop
