I was excited to be invited to Houston Berry’s curatorial debut “Expressions of Speed” at Wonderland SF this summer. It was a nice opportunity to create with a medium that I enjoy only periodically – I’ve played around with Sculpey and other types of clay before but this was by far my most detailed attempt. Also this was a fun challenge to translate a theme that I’ve explored through painting into three dimensions. It got knocked out in the first heat but did it with deadly style! Until next year…
